Cyrus, the poets, and the build
The name Cyrus is a tribute to King Cyrus the Great - a symbol of legacy, discipline, and principled leadership. That same ethos carries into how we build: measured choices, consistent geometry, and a refusal to cut corners.
Our models - Saba, Nima, Jami, and Rumi - are named after Persian poets. The theme is intentional: craft and culture meeting precision, with each cable designed as a purposeful, repeatable build rather than a one-off experiment.
Cyrus Cables is also shaped by deep respect for the quality, craftsmanship, and engineering of Japanese audio products. We select proven materials and terminations, then assemble them with strict mechanical discipline to suit real-world high-end systems.
Every cable is hand-made in Bondi, Australia using Cardas silver solder, with careful strain relief and clean, consistent workmanship. The goal is sonic purity - a build standard that stays out of the way and lets your system speak.
