Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
1. Change-of-mind returns
If you change your mind, we may be able to accept a return on unused, standard “add to cart” items and eligible marketplace items, provided they are returned in original condition. Custom-built items made to your specifications are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns. This section does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Request within 14 days of delivery.
- Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging where practical.
- Change-of-mind return shipping is typically paid by the customer.
2. Faulty, damaged, or not as described
If an item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, we will work with you to provide a remedy consistent with the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the issue, this may include repair, replacement, or refund.
Major vs minor failure: if a fault is a major failure, you can usually choose a refund or replacement. If the fault is minor, we can usually choose to repair, replace, or refund. This policy does not exclude or limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and a brief description of the issue.
- Please include clear photos (and, if relevant, a short video) showing the fault or damage.
- Where required, we may ask you to return the item for inspection or testing.
- If the issue is confirmed as a fault or transit damage, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
3. How to request a return
- Email dean@cyruscables.com.au with your order number and request.
- We will reply with the next steps and, if applicable, a return address and packaging guidance.
- Pack the item securely. Please do not write directly on product boxes where possible.
- Once received, we will assess and confirm the outcome.
4. Refunds and processing
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
- Bank transfer refunds may require your account details.
- Refund timing depends on your payment provider; typically 2–10 business days after approval.
5. Exclusions and reasonable limits
We may decline a change-of-mind return if the item has been used, damaged due to misuse, altered, or cannot be returned in a reasonable condition. This does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty items.
