The Crystal Eop-G is the strangest and cleverest thing KOJO makes: a virtual earth built into a plug-sized cylinder. Inside, eight supercapacitor-derived elements, their electrodes etched into a sponge-like structure and packed with porous activated carbon, present an effective conductor area of about 80 million square centimetres. KOJO's own comparison is a soccer field, and it is barely an exaggeration.
It plugs into any spare outlet on your wall or power tap and connects only to the earth line (the current-carrying blades are inert ABS; only the earth pin is conductive). From there it strengthens the ground reference for the entire system at once, where box-type earths work one component at a time. Units screw together end-to-end if you want to double or triple the area, and the leftover caps combine into a spare-outlet dust cover.
