KATANA25 is named after the Japanese sword, and the metaphor is the engineering brief: hard and soft steels forged together. Here that means a PWM-inverter regenerator paired with a transformer stage, combining the speed and transparency of regeneration with the authority and body of a transformer supply.
With 2,500VA of output it can carry an entire system, not just a front end. The regenerator side redraws the waveform regardless of what the wall delivers; the transformer side gives the music its weight.
