The ZET-R is a premium RCA cap with a twist: as well as sealing an unused input against dust, RF and noise, it has a provision for attaching a ground wire — handy for tying a chassis earth point into your grounding scheme.
The body is gold-plated brass, 12 mm in diameter, and fits any standard RCA socket. Unused inputs on a phono stage or preamp are small antennas; capping them is a cheap, audible tidy-up.
